Allison, First, it was so great to see you and Dean last night, I really enjoyed that surprise, and I thank you for that. Holy censored Allison, this album is amazing! I could never mistake that voice, mostly because it sounds almost exactly as it did twenty (!) years ago, only the maturity has changed. The tonal quality, timber, flawless pitch and innate understanding of rythm has remained as pure as I remember. I love this music, and am proud to be a snob about it I was totally impressed by your interpretations, and can't wait to see you to squeal about the specifics. Im over 50 Years in radio I have listened to hundreds of girl singers, or, more correctly, female vocalists. Some are excellent, some fairly good and unfortunately a few who weren't quite up to our standards. When I first heard Allison Paris I knew she was one of the best. Allison has a lovely warm, mellow sound avoiding the tendency of too many singers today to scream and wail for effect. She caresses a lyric and stays with the melody so you get a performance sure to please the composers and everyone who appreciates fine popular singing.
