It’s time to shake off those winter blues and get moving on some serious spring cleaning and go back to doing what I love, as we move into the gloriously warmer,

flower-filled, brighter days!
.....One of the most memorable events of last spring was held at the beautiful Patchogue Manor. This newly renovated catering hall was a great venue for a Jazz Dinner. The staff and food were superb. The night was hosted by legendary Jazz Radio giant Jack Ellsworth. I was also afforded the opportunity, once again, to play with some of the most respected musicians of the jazz world, Mr. Jerry Weldon on sax, Mr. Tootsie Bean on drums, Mr. John Ray on Bass and of course one of my regular partners in crime, Mr. Jim Ahrend on piano.
.....Enough of last year. As for this year, after a few months of maternity leave, I have realized how much I enjoy and miss performing. So starting on Thursday, April 13th from 7-10 pm we will be back at Bellport’s finest Restaurant, Meritage. We will be there every other Thursday. For those of you who may not know, Meritage is under new ownership and is better than ever. The food, the ambiance, and the staff, as always, are all fabulous. Don’t miss this wonderful culinary experience. Thursday nights at Meritage were always great nights, thanks to our loyal followers, our gracious hosts, and the wonderful atmosphere of this much-loved establishment. We would like to thank Keith and Rich for all the great times. They always treated us with respect and friendship and we want to wish them luck and success in the future.
.....As always, information about scheduling, establishments, directions and times, how to order CD’s, and any other questions you may have (how many meters in a mile?) can be answered at:
.....Here’s wishing you all a fabulous Spring as well as all of the good things that life has to offer. May you all find happiness, peace and success in this season of new beginnings! Hope to see you all soon!
Love and Peace,

It has been a while since we sent out a newsletter, so I would like to begin by filling you in on all of the exciting happenings of the last couple of months.
As some of you already know, on February 9th, 2006 my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Anastasia. We are happy to say that she is healthy and happy and we are so grateful to have her. She is the answer to all of our prayers. Who knows? One day she may have her own newsletter to send out. If you’d like to meet her, she will be watching her mommy sing when ever she has the chance to, and will be receiving admirers!
As for professionally, last summer was great!!! Besides being at our regular haunts, Collins and Main and Meritage, we also had the pleasure of being out East at one of the finest restaurants in the Hamptons, Starr Boggs. Executive Chef/Owner, Starr Bogg, has been described as one of the top culinary artists of New York. One of my favorite musicians and very good friends, Kenny Mackenzie, and I were there every Sunday singing under the stars on the al fresco dining patio. We will keep you informed about this summer.
Last Summer and Fall brought us to the North Fork where we had the pleasure of playing a number of times at the Harbes Family Farms. We also had a great turn-out at our annual performances at the South Country Library as well as The Bellport Bandshell, where we will be returning again this year in July.
